Grantham Coates Surveys are full members of The Survey Association (more commonly known as TSA).

The TSA was formed in 1979 to represent the views and business concerns of the private surveying companies in the United Kingdom. The TSA is a valuable source of information and advice to the company regarding all aspects of the surveying industry.

The directors are members of The Chartered Institution of Civil Engineering Surveyors (ICES). This is an international qualifying body dedicated to the regulation, education and training of surveyors working within civil engineering.

Grantham Coates Surveys understand the value and importance of staff training and development. Our surveyors are encouraged to pursue professional memberships.

Accreditations, Qualifications & Training

Railway Industry Supplier Qualification Scheme (RISQS)
Grantham Coates Surveys have gained RISQS accreditation. With regards to carrying out work within the railway environment, after several years of being sponsored by one of our major clients, we took the step to become RISQS (Rail Industry Supplier Qualification Scheme) approved. Having been working on railway infrastructure for many years our staff are all PTS and DCCR qualified. This allows our surveyors to work on or near the line on Network Rail’s infrastructure, including working near or adjacent to a DC Conductor Rail. In addition we have a team dedicated to working on National Grid Electrical Sub-Stations carrying Person and BESC qualifications; The Basic Electrical Safety Competence (BESC) registration scheme.

The Construction Industry Training Board (CITB)
Our staff have site health & safety CSCS cards, which is a safety awareness scheme operated by the CITB.
